Victoria African Students Association (VASA)

We are committed to being an inclusive club, Educating ourselves about New Zealand’s diverse culture and educating New Zealanders about our diverse cultures.

The primary goals of African Students Association of New Zealand (ASANZ)—Victoria chapter is to be a representative of African students across all tertiary institutions in New Zealand.

ASANZ aims to build a community of African Students at Victoria University of Wellington. We aim to connect students with each other and the diverse resources available to us at the University. Our activities cover events as celebrating Africa Day, workshops, recreational sports, guest speakers, annual conferences and awards.
