If you're already working in the field you can choose from a flexible range of professional programmes that you can study while you work.

International recognition

You'll be part of Wellington School of Business and Government which is among a small group of schools worldwide that hold the 'Triple Crown' of international business education accreditations. You can be confident your qualification will stand up against the best around the world.

Find out more about accreditations and what they mean for you.

Flexible pathways

Bachelor of Commerce graduates usually enrol in the 180-point Master of Commerce. You can, however, enrol in the Bachelor of Commerce with Honours and choose to transfer to the 180-point Master of Commerce in Trimester 2.

Students with a good relevant undergraduate degree can start their Honours or Master's study in March and finish their Honours in November or their Master's in April the following year.

If you're looking for a broad-based qualification aimed at working professionals, there are two management qualifications in the EMBA family—the Executive MBA and the Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration. Choose the qualification with the entry requirements, time commitment and career benefits that suit you.

Research topics

Students thinking of doing a thesis can get ideas for topics by checking the research interests of school staff. Trimester 1 courses are also good opportunities to find topics and supervisors that suit you.

You'll work one-to-one with supervisors who are active researchers of national and international reputation.

Careers

A postgraduate qualification will open up your career opportunities across a variety of roles. You might find work with a management consultancy, financial services firm or in the public sector and local government. Or you might want to be part of a tech start-up or in a business incubator in the social development field.
