To be accepted by the head of school as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study

- With the Associate Dean’s approval, MNursPrac graduates with at least a B average can cross-credit HLTH 501 and HLTH 502 to the Master of Nursing Science.
- Graduates of the CCDHB Certificate of Neonatal Nursing Practice may apply for up to 30 points transfer of credit into the Master of Nursing Science with an exemption to HLTH514. They must have completed the Certificate in 2020 or later with a grade of B or above.

Important information
- Entry into Part 2 requires permission from the head of school, which will be based on academic achievement in Part 1.
- You will need regular internet access to engage with the online learning platform (Nuku). Nuku is an online environment that supports teaching and learning at the University by making course information, materials and learning activities available online. Nuku provides web-based access to course content, assessment, communication and collaboration tools.
- Students following the nurse prescribing or nurse practitioner pathways will need to achieve at least a B grade in prerequisite courses before progressing to HLTH 543 or HLTH 544.
- Contact the School for specific Nursing Council of New Zealand and workplace requirements for entry into HLTH 543 or HLTH 544.
