The people you work with and learn from are an important part of the programme. See who the teaching staff are and find out what it’s like to study the Master of Actuarial Science.
Associate Professor of Actuarial Science
Our Master of Actuarial Science students build a strong foundation that will enable them to tackle business challenges and opportunities. They acquire working knowledge of thinking frameworks that they can transfer across different sectors of the economy, and get insights into how they can be used operationally for specific business goals.
The programme is attractive to several types of students, including those who have studied Actuarial Science as undergraduates and wish to continue their studies and progress towards professional accreditation. Those already in the industry and working towards actuarial accreditation would also benefit from the programme. A third group are working professionals who have the necessary undergraduate business and statistical background, and are looking for a new and exciting career as an actuary.
