Choose your ideal programme

Before you get started, you need to establish if you're a Study Abroad or an Exchange student.

Exchange

Your home university must be a Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington partner through a formal student exchange agreement. See the full list of exchange partner universities.

Study Abroad

If your home university does not have a formal Exchange agreement with Victoria University of Wellington, or if there are not enough Exchange programme places available, you can apply to participate in the Study Abroad programme.

If you are unsure, please check with your home university Study Abroad or Exchange office.
