In the process of globalization and modernization, cultural ecology of the world undergoing enormous changes. Intangible cultural heritage is an important part of the cultural resources of a country. It is also an important component of Chinese traditional culture which contains the characteristic of the Chinese nation spiritual values, ways of thinking, imagination and cultural awareness. It upholds the fundamental basis of the national cultural identity and cultural sovereignty.
Intangible cultural heritage is also the embodiment of cultural diversity in the world, showing the spirit and culture of a country and nation-specific tags. It makes positive and significance role in carrying forward the traditional culture, building a harmonious society and enhancing the country's cultural strength.
China is struggling to become a cultural power country, developing cultural industry have become an important policy. Discussion on protection and utilization of cultural heritage is the important part of the development of cultural industries in China.
This research focuses on Chinese intangible cultural heritage protection and inheritance of Chinese traditional culture, revealing the relationship between the development of cultural industry and the protection and utilization of intangible cultural heritage with a global perspective.
