Professor PENG Jianqiang

Biography

Professor PENG Jianqiang is Vice-President of Hebei Academy of Social Sciences based in Shijiazhuang. He is a leading expert in rural economics in Hebei Province and he also supervises PhD candidates. Professor Peng is also the Director of the Hebei Urban-Rural Development Research Centre. He sits on the Strategic Consultation Committee for Hebei Provincial Government, and he is a committee member of the Finance and Economics Committee for the 12th Provincial People’s Congress in Hebei. His research focuses on agricultural and rural economy, urban rural relationships, urban-rural integration, and regional development.
