Professor BO’s talk on “Who is Xi Jinping”

In his first public lecture in Wellington on 10 June 2015, Professor BO Zhiyue, Director of the New Zealand Contemporary China and Professor of Political Science at Victoria University of Wellington, gave a talk on “Who is Xi Jinping.” Starting with Xi’s genealogy of more than 600 years, Professor BO provided a detailed account of Xi’s family background, Xi’s political career, and Xi’s leadership style and answered questions from a roomful audience of prominent former diplomats, academics, government officials, students, and ordinary citizens.
