Vice-Chancellor's visit to Shanghai Academy
In the afternoon, Vice Chancellor Pat Walsh together with Vice-Chancellor of the International Office Rob Rabel and Professor Xiaoming Huang, Director of the New Zealand Contemporary China Research Centre visited Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. Executive Vice-President Zuo Xuejin, Shen Kai-yan Deputy Director and Li Yihai, Director of Foreign Affairs and Cai Hong Kim attended the talks.
Zuo Xuejin introduced the developments and said that frequent exchanges between the two institutions in recent years had been based on the continued developments of both countries to jointly promote the new social sciences research, civil and cultural exchanges. Both sides agreed in the economic, international trade and other research areas to expand cooperation and personnel exchange and international conferences to strengthen ties.
