New PhD and MA Scholarships
On 17 June 2010, Vice Chancellor Professor Pat Walsh of Victoria University of Wellington and the China Scholarship Council Secretary-General Liu Jinghui signed an Memorandum of Understanding on Scholarships for PhD and MA students. Education Minister Anne Tolley and Hao Ping, Vice Minister witnessed the ceremony.
According to the Memorandum, Victoria University and China Scholarship Council will will jointly provide scholarships for up 20 Chinese students each year to do PhD study at Victoria University and 5 students from Victoria University to do MA study at Chinese universities and 5 Chinese students to do MA study at Victoria University.
