YU Changsen on China's Economic Relations with the Pacific

Last month Yu Changsen of the National Centre for Oceania Studies at Sun Yat-sen University in China visited the China Research Centre to give a presentation on China's Economic Relations with the Pacific.

Associate Professor YU is a leading editor in the team that compiles the annual Blue Book on Oceania (Chinese) recently published by the Social Sciences Press. This volume is a comprehensive account of China's relations with the region (including Australia and New Zealand) as well as analysis of current economic, social and political trends in the Pacific by leading experts in China.

YU Changsen has provided a snapshot of this study in a short working paper written for the China Research Centre and based on his presentation here in August. China's Economic Relations with Pacific Island Countries (YU Changsen, 2014) can be downloaded here.
