Frequency is New Zealand's leading project management firm working to transform New Zealand’s infrastructure and built environment through specialist project advisory and planning. Frequency delivers project management delivery, project controls, contract management, commercial and risk, strategic property and funding and advisory services. These services span across several sectors such as airports, education, housing and residential, logistics and commercial, health, road, rail and transport, telecommunications, ports and water. Frequency has offices in Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch.

Five panellist, Tim Palin (Managing Partner), Mattias Strulik (Executive Associate), Daniel Carew (Associate), Kristine Yap (Graduate) and Ryan Simpson (Graduate) would be sharing their professional project management experience, challenges in project delivery, desired skill set from graduates, project specialization pathways and best digital tools to master for student in Architecture School.

This talk has been initiated through ongoing discussion by Mattias strulik (Frequency) and Dr Wallace Imoudu Enegbuma (VUW) on the need to establish industry linked graduate courses for the university. This marks the beginning of several initiatives and possible MOU with the School of Architecture through Robyn Phipps (Head of School) given Frequency's reputation for excellence in the construction sector. The panellist brings an average wealth of 10 years of experience in managing projects. Their expertise includes programme controls, sustainability assessment, scheduling, dispute resolution, building information modelling (BIM), contract administration and financial management. The panelist have successfully deliver and continue to contribute in large scale infrastructure projects such as the new Interislander Ferries project, sports stadium, Wellington airport, Foodstuff seismic remediation and Auckland Light Rail. The School of Architecture and indeed the University is proud to have three of our alumni (Daniel, Krtistine and Ryan) engaged in giving back to the student community and wider service to humanity.
