Conservation Volunteers New Zealand

The University is encouraging staff to get involved in volunteering.

The University is committed to social responsibility and engaging with the communities in which our employees live and work. Volunteering has positive benefits for those who take part, such as a sense of contributing to the community, building a stronger team and increasing wellbeing. This initiative shows the University takes seriously its ambitions to be a global-civic institution that is highly engaged with the city.

Volunteer leave day

Teams of University staff can take a day’s volunteer leave for a community organisation including University-approved projects with Conservation Volunteers New Zealand.
