Campus tours

See first-hand why we all love it here. Our campus tours allow you to see our facilities and meet people doing what they do best. It's your chance to check out Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington and ask as many questions as you like.

Kelburn campus is the central hub of the University. It is home to range of student services, the Central Library, and the Wellington Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, Engineering, Education, and Health.

Te Aro campus, in the lively Cuba Street district, is home to the University’s Wellington Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation.

Pipitea campus is located in the heart of Wellington’s legal, government, and business district and is home to the Wellington School of Business and Government and Law Faculty.

Halls of residence tours

Our halls of residence offer a safe and supportive community to help you make the most of your time at university. We offer a range of different options so you can find the right one for you.

Join us for a hall tour during the school holidays—this is a great chance to check out our halls and ask any questions. All first year halls will be open for walk-in tours at the times below. No registration needed—just show up to the halls you would like to see and join a tour!

  • Wednesday 17 July 1 pm – 3 pm

In the July school holidays we are inviting high school students to experience what Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington has to offer.

Stand for Change—Experience Law Day

Thursday 11 July, 9 am–1 pm (followed by an optional tour of the Supreme Court)
Pipitea Campus

Step into the nation’s legal and political heart with an on-campus school holiday experience centred around studying a Bachelor of Laws at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. This is event will feature a sample lecture, a panel of current law students, an alumni presentation and also a chance to hear from lawyers from various industries.
