Midwifery

Our Bachelor of Midwifery (BMid) is a four-year undergraduate degree that gives you the skills to support the health and wellbeing of new families during and after pregnancy and birth. Give back to your community and build a meaningful career as you help to bring new life—and new parents—into the world.

As a student in this research-informed undergraduate midwifery qualification, you'll be learning from academics who are experienced and passionate midwives—as well as getting access to the University's expertise in science, psychology, and education.

Our degree structure helps you balance home life, work, and study, giving you every chance to succeed.

You'll build your knowledge of both the practice and theory of midwifery, learning through lectures, labs, clinical learning experiences, and group work in a simulation environment.
