Course advice—Student Success Advisers

The friendly advisers in Tītoko—Centre for Student Success can help you with course and degree planning, study and academic support, and connect you with additional services across the university.

Drop-in hours at Pipitea:

  • Monday to Thursday, 10 am–12 pm and 1–3 pm.
  • Visit us at the Tītoko counter on the ground floor of Rutherford House.
  • Register online for an advice session during these hours—your appointment can be in-person, online, or by phone.

Te Taiako—Student Learning

The Student Learning team can support you with your studies, and offer one-to-one appointments if you're looking to improve your writing, academic thinking, or study skills.

Drop-in hours at Pipitea:

  • Thursday, 8.30 am–4 pm.
  • Visit us in room RHG13 on the ground floor of Rutherford House.

Careers and Employment

Whether you’re a student or a recent graduate, the Careers and Employment team is available to offer you career guidance. Visit our website to book a 30-minute appointment with one of our career consultants and get advice on career planning, decision-making, and job applications.

  • Tuesday and Friday, 9 am–4 pm during Trimester 1 (teaching weeks only).
  • Room RHG13 on the ground floor of Rutherford House.

International Student Support

The International Student Support team is dedicated to helping all international students by providing guidance and support. Our services include study advice, insurance and visa support, and pastoral care. We aim to make sure you have a smooth experience while studying with us.

  • Tuesday, 12.30–4 pm.
  • Visit us at the Tītoko counter on the ground floor of Rutherford House.
