Move-it hour

A collaborative initiative between Manawa Ora—Student Wellbeing and University Recreation to make physical wellbeing more accessible and inexpensive for students.

One hour a week, an activity is organised which encourages students to enhance their wellbeing. Activities range from yoga classes, movement games, to stretching and dancing.

Outside of move-it hour, there is a movement corner set up in The Bubble. There you'll find yoga mats and yoga blocks along with different information sheets about different stretches and exercises you can do.

Manawa Ora—Student Wellbeing is striving to create opportunities for students to enhance their wellbeing holistically and move-it hour is one of the many initiatives put in place to meet this goal.
