Key locations

  • The Hub is a large gathering area in the centre of the campus, and a good place to start.
  • The Library is in Rankine Brown (RB) building, and forms one side of the Hub.
  • Easterfield (EA) building is the Kelburn Parade side of the Hub.
  • The Student Union (SU) building is on the opposite side of the Tim Beaglehole Courtyard from the Hub.
  • The Bubble is a Rainbow and wellbeing space in the Student Union building.
  • The Recreation Centre is behind Cotton building.
  • The Hunter Courtyard is flanked by Hunter and Kirk buildings and Kelburn Parade.

Lecture theatres and rooms

  • Maclaurin (MC) building is up the steps from the Hub.
  • Te Toki a Rata (TTR) building is past Maclaurin.
  • Alan MacDiarmid (AM) building can be reached through the Cotton building.
  • KK001 is in the Student Learning area on the ground floor of Kirk (KK) building, and can be reached from the Hunter Courtyard.
  • Hugh Mackenzie (HM) building is on the other side of Kelburn Parade from the Hub.
