Activities on campus
Get involved in rewarding volunteer and student support activities on campus.
The University campuses offer lots of opportunities to help out, lead, and develop new skills. Participating in Wellington Plus connects you to roles where you can meet new people, feel part of your community, and have fun.
You can select activities that interest you and will help you develop skills while supporting other students. Also challenge yourself, step outside your comfort zone, and try something different.
Many student services at the University have positions for students that count for Wellington Plus—you could become a class representative, an event volunteer, a buddy, a mentor, and much more.
Wellington Plus encourages you to step-up to leadership roles as you progress through the programme. Help new students settle in to the university as a student ambassador, facilitate study groups, or support students' wellbeing in the Bubble. Join the executive of your favourite sporting or cultural club, society, or representative group on campus, be a student representative on a Faculty board and committee, or a Residential Advisor in a Hall of Residence.
