Chaplaincies
University brings up big questions of who we are and what we are about. Belonging, values, beliefs, direction are some of the many things we can talk about.
Our team of University chaplains (including a Māori and an international chaplain) welcome all religions and expressions of faith—or of no faith. We are here to be a listening ear and support you, whatever it is you're thinking about.
We realise connection and community can make a university year. On Thursday and Friday between 12 and 2 pm, Ramsey House offers a space for $2 bottomless coffee and hot drinks, $2 toasties, board games, or you can bring your own food. Bring your friends or meet some new people.
At Rutherford House, we have a drop-in space, with hot drinks, Lego, & games for study breaks.

- Kelburn Campus: Ramsey House, 8 Kelburn Parade. Open 9.30 am–3 pm Monday to Friday.
- Pipitea Campus: We're in MZ20 on the Mezzanine level of Rutherford House, 9.30 am–3 pm most days.

Muslim students
There are prayer rooms at all three campuses at Victoria University of Wellington. These prayer rooms provide a purpose-built, accessible, and comfortable space for Muslim students and staff to gather to pray, meet, and hold activities. Access can only be granted to students and staff. Our prayer rooms are located at:
- Kelburn campus—KK202A and KK201, Kirk Building
- Te Aro Campus—Room VS 324, Vivian Street
- Pipitea Campus—Room RH501, Rutherford House
VicMuslims
Our Muslim student association seeks to bring all Muslims together and closer to Allah. We work together with clubs, associations and institutions to host events and activities.
Berrigan House
Berrigan House, at 4 Kelburn Parade, is a welcoming Catholic house of hospitality in the radical tradition of the Catholic Worker Movement. Mass is held every Wednesday evening, followed by dinner.
