Graduation celebration events

Individual university groups host other celebrations during graduation week. Your faculty, school or unit may be hosting an event.

These events are in addition to the official December 2024 graduation ceremonies.

Doctorate celebration

The Vice-Provost (Research) hosts a celebration for all doctorate graduates.

Date: Tuesday 10 December 2024

Time: 10.30 am–noon

Location: Hunter Lounge, Kelburn campus.

Pasifika graduation celebration

A celebration for Pasifika graduates, their families, and the community. The event is a formal dinner and there will also be cultural items celebrating Pasifika cultures and identities.

Date: Monday 9 December 2024

Time: 5.30 pm
