Sometimes you might be required to create and deliver an assignment in the form of an oral presentation. Here are some ideas for making a great presentation.
Oral presentation assignments allow you develop and use other skills alongside your academic writing. Presentations can also help you develop confidence in public speaking which can be important in the workplace. Your assignment might be an individual or group presentation, in-person or online. In each case, take these assignments seriously, find out what you have to do, check the marking rubric and make a plan. There’s a lot of information on line about making great presentations.
