About us
Student Learning works with all students from first year undergraduates to postgraduates. We aim to develop independent and active learners.
As part of the Student Academic Services group, Student Learning works with students, academic staff, and professional staff to support student success.
At university, students will encounter a variety of challenges. We support students to make the most of their time at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington and to develop the writing, thinking, study, and maths skills necessary for success.
We provide information, workshops, resources and individual appointments to help students develop these skills.

You can book a Writing and Study Skills appointment with a learning adviser or a Maths and Stats appointment with our peer support person.
