I am the GP on the gender affirming healthcare team, which I feel very lucky to be a part of. I helped to develop guidelines for gender affirming hormone initiation in primary care, and often teach other GPs about this area of healthcare. I also work as a senior lecturer at the University of Otago Wellington, so am only at Mauri Ora two mornings a week. I volunteer with the Professional Association for Transgender Health Aotearoa, and in my spare time I love to read, spend time with my family and travel.
