About

I qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine with Honours in the UK in 1981, and then trained to be a physician at Guys Hospital London before coming to live in NZ in 1984. I am married with four children and live on a farm.

I am a Fellow of the RNZCGP and I'm also a trained mediator with AMINZ.

I have taught, examined and done quality assurance assessments for the RNZCGP for many years.  From 2000, I worked for the Medical Council of New Zealand as a Professional Conduct Committee Convenor.

I have worked as a General Practitioner at Vic Uni Student Health from 2009 which I greatly enjoy, and relates well to having four young adults of my own of a similar age!

When I'm not working, I like doing stuff with my family and road biking.
