Einstein Hale
My name is Einstein (he/him), and I am a Mental Health Coordinator for Vic Uni. I am a psychotherapist and addictions counsellor with over a decade of experience. I’m also a proud Transmasc Queer immigrant from North America. Since arriving in Aotearoa in 2021, I’ve had the privilege of working in gender-affirming transitional care, supporting rangatahi, adults, and their families and whānau.
Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to working with a variety of different communities, including differently abled individuals, Indigenous peoples, those with neurodiversity, and with a particular focus on Rainbow and Gender Diverse Communities.
My professional experience spans inpatient psychiatric care, private practice, and charitable trusts. I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities, including Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, ACT, CBT, DBT, and acute crisis management. My approach is casual, humorous, practical, and collaborative.
In my spare time, I enjoy art, writing, reading, and spending time with my chosen family.
