To ensure Mauri Ora can provide the best service to all our enrolled patients, we ask that before you call Mauri Ora, you consider using our partner in telehealth, Practice Plus. Their service is free for all students who use Mauri Ora as their health provider. Check your preferred email for a message from us with the code to use. If you cannot find it contact us.
You will receive a same and/or next-day service in most circumstances.
Please note there is a fee incurred should you book the appointment but not attend virtually.
Examples of the types of things that are great for telehealth include:
- repeat prescriptions for stable conditions where a doctor conversation is required
- urinary tract infections without significant unwellness
- rashes and eczema
- mild skin infections
- mild chest infections
- sticky eyes
- sleep issues
- non-acute mental health issues
- contraception discussions
- menstrual pain
- medical certificates
- scabies treatment
- back and joint pains
- diarrhoea and vomiting without severe abdominal pain.
Practice Plus is available on weekdays from 9 am to 10 pm, and on weekends and public holidays from 8 am to 8 pm.
Students who are registered with the Student Health service can use Practice Plus with no charge using a code. Please contact us for this code
