Vicky Mabin
Professor of Management Vicky Mabin, Wellington School of Business and Government

Professor Vicky Mabin is Professor of Management at Wellington School of Business and Government in Wellington, New Zealand, and teaches Problem Solving and Decision Making methods that can be applied across a range of contexts, including public, private sector and not-for-profit organisations.

Vicky's research interests focus on methods that can be applied to aid decision making and focus performance improvements, in particular: Goldratt's Theory of Constraints (TOC), used on its own and in combination with more traditional operations research and operations management methods, and Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA).

Maryam Mirzaei
Dr Maryam Mirzaei, Lecturer in Operations Management at Unitec, Auckland, New Zealand.

Maryam Mirzaei completed her PhD Research at Wellington School of Business and Government in Wellington, New Zealand, in 2016.
Her PhD thesis examines TOC’s Critical Chain, and is entitled: "Exploring the applicability of the theory of constraints to projects: Critical chain project management and beyond".

Maryam was supervised by Professor Vicky Mabin and Dr Jim Sheffield.
