The Building 'Our' Productivity research project runs for four years, from early 2008 until the end of 2011. Within that time, a number of milestones have been created against which the success of the project can be measured. These are listed in brief below:

30 June 2008

  • Ethics committee approval gained
  • Advisory board assembled
  • Project manager hired

30 December 2008

  • Firm selection completed
  • Access to sector one and sector two firms underway

30 June 2009

  • Interviews, survey and archival data gathered for sector one

30 December 2009

  • Sector one analysis and case study writing underway
  • Interviews, survey and archival data gathered for sector two

30 June 2010

  • Within sector analysis for sector one complete
  • Dissemination of early findings for sector one

30 December 2010

  • Within sector analysis for sector two complete
  • Dissemination of early findings for sector two

30 June 2011

  • Cross sector analysis completed
  • Transferability scenarios underway
