Profile

With an extensive 10-year career working across arts and events organisations in the UK, James' PhD research represents an exciting and key change in direction of recent years. Having dived headfirst into a transdisciplinary Master's course in Tourism and Cultural Policy, he not only reignited a passion for research but also discovered a keen interest in sustainable tourism discourse within the Pacific context. After a break of a few years and a stint at a humanitarian aid NGO, he has now been lucky enough to move across the world and embark on his PhD journey with an interest in sustainable and regenerative tourism.
