Profile

Stephanie has a keen interest and passion for the subject of expertise, change management and wider management studies. This grew out of her experiences in her various management roles in both the public and private sectors. In these roles she experienced and implemented organisational changes in their various forms, always searching for ways to enhance and improve the change process and its impact on people and organisations. However, with the rise of change management professionals, she began to wonder what makes a change “expert”, as thinking about this question is imperative due to the large scale impact the role is potentially afforded. She became particularly interested in how people present themselves online and how this self-portrayal and community engagement may help us understand our understanding of expertise in general. Research allows Stephanie to combine her love of continuous learning and academia, with her interests general interests of all things organisations and change.
