Profile
Angela brings expertise in the student success domain, specifically whole-of-organisation learner-centred strategy and operationalisation, with a focus on data-informed actions. Angela holds Principal Advisor roles at Te Herenga Waka — Victoria University of Wellington, and the Tertiary Education Commission, and sits on the leadership team of Tītoko – Te Herenga Waka — Victoria of University’s, Centre for Student Success.
With a background in economics, Angela has experience working across multiple sectors of the economy including education, national statistics offices, private multi-nationals, private small business and public health, complemented with international experience working in Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, United Kingdom and France.
Angela’s doctoral research investigates education institution data as a source of sustainable competitive advantage. Angela is a whānau member of Te Pūnaha Matatini Centre of Research Excellence, and is affiliated with Graduate Women Wellington.
