Introduction

Dr Eerang Park joined School of Management in 2016. She previously taught at University of Lincoln in the UK and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong. She has established her research in tourism focusing on community empowerment and sustainable tourism and tourist experiences in special interest tourism. Her research involves multiple stakeholders and she has pioneered research in the context of the global slow-city movement and tourism in the peripheral Asian regions. Dr Park has a wide range of tourism industrial experiences including tour operation, CVB, NGO, and tourism consulting in the United States and Korea.
