Profile

Joel Hassan is a PhD student in the School of Marketing and International Business. Joel has a BCOM in Marketing and International Business with an Honours in International Business. He has a strong interest in complex challenges that are occurring within the international business environment. He has previously researched the global supply chain resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises from New Zealand during the COVID-19 pandemic. Joel is currently researching the implication of tense political relations between rival nations on firm performance and strategy. Through his research, Joel hopes to provide theoretical and practical insights on pressing issues within the global business environment.
