Research grant for SMIB lecturer
Congratulations to Senior Lecturer in Marketing Annie Liu, who has been awarded a research grant to investigate how companies can win back lost customers through advertising and sales force engagement.
Annie is the School of Marketing and International Business's newest academic and a winning recipient of the the 2012 Neil Rackham Research Award Program, which judges applicants on their ability to use academic research to address top industry challenges.
She will use the $5000 award in a collaboration with Mark Leach (Loyola Marymount University) to interview global firms' best practices.
Overseen by the Sales Education Foundation (SEF), the annual endowments were gifted by best-selling author and renowned sales researcher Neil Rackham.
Jeanne Frawley, Executive Director of the SEF, views the research program as an opportunity to bridge a gap between what many academics have been researching and what the business community needs.
"The research awards support collaboration that permits both universities and global companies to prosper."
