Profile
Anna studied images of weapon in medieval literature. Having her major in Japanese languages and culture, she devoted years of Bachelor’s programme to comparison of Japanese and European medieval literature and images of sword in both. She worked on the research of Japanese weapon images in medieval Japanese literature through Western eyes: acquisition, assimilation and localization of Japanese medieval military narratives in Western world via translation and academic study.
