Profile

Yiwen studied in Canberra at Australian National University, where she received her BA (2018) and MA (2019) degrees. After the completion of her MA, she worked as a volunteer teacher in China for a year (2020) and decided to study further through pursuing a PhD degree. Her research project is centrally concerned with the gender identity construction, misogyny, feminism, and media practice in current China.
