Profile

As an undergraduate Wanxuan went to the United States as an exchange student for two years. This experience gave her an interest in computer science, especially machine learning. Wanxuan chose Business Analytics for their postgraduate major, a discipline that analyses business data using Big Data and Machine Learning. From this experience Wanxuan became interested in the application of technology in business. After graduating she worked as a software engineer with information management, which lead to an interest in how technology works with humans, something Wanxuan has further investigated.

Research interests

Wanxuan is passionate about how individuals or groups use AI technology, and how AI technology can help people in work. Her areas of interest are human-machine collaboration, especially AI technology and creativity. She wants to understand how humans cooperate with AI agents in the workplace, and how this cooperation will affect the cooperation of humans with other humans.
