Profile

Yao holds a bachelor’s degree in software engineering. After graduating, she began her career in an environmental protection agency, where she provided environmental consulting services to businesses. Through this work, she discovered a strong interest in management research, leading her to pursue an MBA. This unique background has fuelled her interest in the interaction between information technology and sustainable development, and she is eager to explore this further.

Research Interests

Yao’s research interests are primarily focused on leveraging emerging information technologies to promote sustainability. Currently, she is focused on research in Human-AI Collaboration for Environmental Sustainability, aiming to contribute to the advancement of sustainable practices.
