Profile

My PhD is focused  on Human-AI Collaboration, specifically exploring the impact of generative AI in program management. My research merges theoretical insights with practical frameworks for human-GenAI interplay, particularly in program and project management offices. As an individual with a strong foundation in library and information science, I have conducted several extensive research on improving library services in Nigeria through technology. This sparked my curiosity about the practicalities of human-AI collaboration, driving me to pursue further studies in this field.  I have presented at major conferences, including delivering addresses for the Nigerian Library Association. This is how my passion for responsible AI was birthed. This led me to establish the MATLUXE Initiative, an NGO focused on fostering AI literacy among young people in Africa, promoting responsible GenAI engagement, and addressing its societal implications. These experiences have provided a strong foundation for my current studies and research.

Qualifications

MLIS, Rivers State University, Port-Harcourt, Nigeria.

BSc, Library and Information Science, Abia State University, Uturu, Nigeria.

Research interests

I am interested in studies within human-AI collaboration, AI literacy and responsible engagement, especially among young people in Africa. I am also passionate how technology, particularly AI, can enhance library services and improve information access in African libraries.
