Academic Staff
The following School staff lead research projects within the Social Theory and Spatial Praxis Research Group:
- Dr Sara Kindon - Participatory research, youth, Maori, feminist geography, community development, community video, and gender analysis
- Dr Marcela Palomino-Schalscha – development (post-development), diverse and solidarity economies, decolonisation and decoloniality, neoliberalism, politics of scale and place, and indigenous-run tourism
- Dr Mairead de Roiste - Geographical information systems, geovisualisation, transport modelling, pedagogy and GIS-capability building
- Dr Polly Stupples - Critical development studies, creative practice, social change and the creative economy, sustainable development, co-production and collaborative methods, Latin American studies, Pacific studies, and gender

We welcome academic and non-academic visitors, particularly artists, activists and practitioners, who wish to spend time with us working on projects of mutual interest, give seminars and support postgraduate students.
