Geographical Information Systems data

There are a large number of GIS datasets available to users within the School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences. 

G drive

G drive is only available for use by postgraduate students and staff. It is the most comprehensive data storage available and holds some duplicate records of data on other drives.

Q drive

The Q drive holds general data for New Zealand and the Wellington region, including coastlines and many administrative boundaries. The data is available to users within the University only.

W drive

The W drive holds teaching-related GIS data for GIS students at the University.
