Why did you choose to study at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington?

What did you gain from your film studies at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington?

Cameron: The film programme at Te Herenga Waka is as much about education as it is about connection. The supportive and collaborative environment the educators foster continues long after the final assessment is submitted.

Why did you choose to study film?

Cameron: For me, film isn’t just a degree. Film is the way I connect with the world and the way the world connects with me. Earning the qualification was just a bonus.

Did you form valuable relationships while studying in the film programme?

Cameron: In filmmaking, collaboration is essential. Throughout my time at Te Herenga Waka, I'm so lucky to have met not only amazing creative partners but lifelong friends.
