BIO
Professor Ross works on early modern literature, gender, poetry, and manuscript and print culture in the early modern Anglophone world.
She is currently completing a Marsden and ARC-funded project on early modern women's complaint poetry, working with Professor Rosalind Smith (ANU) and Professor Michelle O'Callaghan (University of Reading), with a book forthcoming on Early Modern Women and the Poetry of Complaint.

She has recently edited the Oxford Handbook of Early Modern Women's Writing in English, 1540-1700 (2022), with Professor Danielle Clarke (UCD) and Dr Elizabeth Scott-Baumann (King's College, London).
She was also part of the team that created Beyond the Book: A Digital Journey through the Treasures of the Emmerson Collection, launched at State Library Victoria in August 2023: https://beyondthebook.slv.vic.gov.au/
With Rosalind Smith, she edits the journal Parergon, the journal of the Australian and New Zealand Association for Medieval and Early Modern Studies: https://parergon.org
