Jern's research interest is in using machine learning models for financial market predictions. He is passionate about deploying machine learning models and big data analytics to solve real world problems. He believes that machine learning can aid portfolio and financial risk management decisions to achieve superior investment returns. He graduated with an MSc in Finance and Investment with distinction from Nottingham University (UK) and has CFA Level I and 2 qualification. He is also a recipient of the Wellington Doctoral Scholarship.

Research Interests: Asset Pricing, Machine Learning, Financial Market, Predictive Analytics.

Qualifications: BEng in Material Science, National University of Singapore. CFA Level I and II. MSc Finance and Investment, Nottingham University.
