David Payne Memorial Prize
Information
This prize in memory of David Payne who died while a student of Mathematics in 1980. It arises from a fund of $500 subscribed by students, staff and friends.
The prize is awarded annually to the student who, in the opinion of the Head of the School, has achieved the best performance in an applied mathematics.
The value of the prize shall be determined after consideration of the income from the fund.
Recipients are asked to use the prize money to purchase a book or books.
Recipients will be asked to write a letter of thanks, which will be forwarded appropriately.
