Martin Turner has had a career in private equity, funds management and investment banking.

Martin has a research interest in private equity. As private equity continues to dramatically grow internationally as a form of corporate finance, so does its economic and social importance. Martin is interested in developing an academic research program in private equity, employing a wide range of appropriate research approaches. Martin has a particular interest in using both quantitative and qualitative methods to aid deeper academic and practical understanding of what is still a relatively little understood activity.
