Club House games room is opening on Open Day. It's a new space for students to play low-impact, engaging games

Welcome to this fun new space located at the top of the Student Union Building (SUB) on the Kelburn campus. Just take a left before the external sliding doors, and step into a unique recreation area with a creative twist.

University Recreation is thrilled to offer a range of low-impact, engaging games for everyone to enjoy. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store, with even more to come as we gather feedback on what games you’d love to see added in the future.

The games room will be open 10 am–2 pm from Monday to Friday and may be open longer hours depending on staff availability.

Available games:

  • Switch sports—grab a controller and take on a mate at volleyball, badminton, bowling, golf, soccer, chambara, tennis, or basketball
  • sticky golf—try and beat the high score or play one of the fun modes against other students
  • putting pong—a twist to cup pong, grab a putter and try to cover your opponent's holes before they can get yours
  • cornhole—play as a team or take on a mate 1-on-1 in this classic American college game
  • table tennis—jam out on the table tennis table
  • foosball table—twist and score against your mates
  • big chess—make the right moves and take the bragging rights
  • and more to come.
