Fono Talanoa on Improving Pasifika Legal Education Project
We invite you to register to attend our Fono Talanoa and contribute your experiences to the conversation.
You're invited to attend our Fono Talanoa on Equity, Belonging and Authority—How can Law, Policy and Practice support Pasifika in Aotearoa New Zealand—Improving Pasifika Legal Education.
The overarching goal of this project is to improve legal education to increase the number of Pasifika in law or legal professions.
Your participation will support this research by identifying barriers to entering law, and implement and evaluate interventions. We ask that you come and share your experiences as a current or former law student, graduate, or law practitioner.
Register for the Talanoa series
We are hoping to hold the Talanoa series between December 2021–March 2022. It will be an opportunity for you to share your experiences.
We would like to Talanoa with current and former Pasifika law students, and Pasifika legal practitioners and graduates who have had the experience of entering legal education in any of the tertiary institutions in Aotearoa New Zealand.
All participants must be 18 or older and as a thank you for your participation, we will offer you a koha.
To find out more about the project, email Dr Mele Tupou Vaitohi or read the information and register online.
We hope to hear from you soon, and would really appreciate if you shared this with anyone you know who may also be interested in participating.
