Jazz project 2017
The 2017 NZSM Jazz Project took place on 8 - 9 June in Wellington. Secondary school big bands and jazz combos joined us for two days of competitions, workshops and clinics.
Guest artists included one of the 'world’s greatest living drummers', Dave Weckl, Grammy Award-winning Santana vocalist Tony Lindsay, Down Beat rising sax star Adam Schroeder, and Mingus Big Band trumpeter Alex Sipiagin.
